2017年1月，保监会将保险公司投资权益类资产占保险公司总资产比例从40%调整为30%，单一股票投资占保险公司总资产比例从10%调整为5%，当时保监会的解释是撤回“临时”救市政策。不到两年时间，这一投资比例虽未有调整，但允许保险资金设立专项产品，参与化解股票质押流动性风险。“这是巨大的放松，连比例都没有了。”一位保险公司人士表示。
